As previously announced, Bandai has updated the banned and restricted card list: Effective April 10, 2026, EB04-058-borsalino and OP07-115-i-re-quasar-helllp will be Banned Pair Cards for West One Piece Card Game players. You cannot play them in the same deck. New Meta Tier List updates are coming soon, so keep an eye out!

As part of our commitment to maintaining a balanced competitive environment, we are adding and removing the following cards from the Banned/Restricted Card List, effective April 10, 2026.
Regarding the Policy of Banned/Restricted Card Revision
We, the Development Team of ONE PIECE CARD GAME, consider as the main policy for game designing that the players and fans can enjoy numerous decks built around the leader card.
Throughout the year, we continuously monitor the game environment to ensure strategic diversity is maintained, always considering whether revisions to the Banned/Restricted Card List are necessary.
When determining whether to add cards to the Banned/Restricted List, we evaluate multiple aspects of a deck—such as its win rate, results from major tournaments, usage rate, its projected influence on the future game environment, and whether it restricts the viability of other Leaders.
For that reason, we also consider removing certain cards from the Banned/Restricted List when the game environment changes, and when we believe players and fans will once again be able to fully enjoy the game without those restrictions.
Typically, we announce revisions to the list once after the conclusion of Championship Season 1 in Japan, and once after the World Championship.
However, if we determine that a particular card is preventing us from providing an enjoyable environment, we may add it to the Banned/Restricted List without waiting for the end of a Championship season.
Effective from April 10, 2026
Please note that this update will be enforced starting April 10 in NA/EU/LATAM/OC, and the implementation date will differ from other regions including Japan.

This card combination has been used in a wider variety of decks, particularly those including Yellow, than we initially anticipated.
As a result, we have observed that game times have become significantly longer than expected, which deviates from the gameplay experience we aim to provide.
Therefore, we have decided to designate this combination as a banned pair.
To maintain an enjoyable game experience with a huge diversity of decks for all the players and fans, we continue to monitor the game environment, and implement revisions if necessary.
