One Piece Card Game is officially launching in South Korea! Bandai Namco Korea will be partnering up with the local production company XOsoft to bring players the cards in the Korean language, as well as have its own set release schedule.
Release Schedule
The game will be launching starting with the first two Starter Decks, ST-01 Straw Hat Crew and ST-02 Worst Generation on March 22, 2024. The first Booster Pack set, OP-01 Romance Dawn, will be released on April 2024 and a new set every 3 months thereafter.
This is interesting to note because English players are hoping for some sort of announcement regarding a synchronized release with Japan at the NEXT PLAN Announcement on March 29, 2024. Will there be a plan for a catch up system in Korea?
Pop Up Store Promotion
For the release promotion, there will be a pop up store opening at Yongsan I'PARK Mall this weekend from Friday to Sunday with two promo packs containing 6 to 7 cards!
More Information
As with other similar card games, players can expect to pick up cards for a lower price point (Starter Decks going for about $9 MRSP).
